TERMS AND CONDITIONS of travel with GreenTracks


     All tours and services in the destination country, hotel, boat and lodge accommodations, transfers, and ground transportation. Meals specifically listed in your itinerary. If accommodations and services listed in the trip itinerary, due to circumstances beyond our control, are subject to change, substitutions will be of similar or better quality.


     Airfare to your destination. Passport or visa fees, foreign exit taxes, immunizations, beverages, laundry, telephone or telegraph charges, excess baggage, gratuities, insurance, any expense of a personal nature. Meals not listed as specifically included in the itinerary.


     Every traveler is responsible for their own travel documents. This includes passports, visas and medical certificates. Check the requirements for travel to and from the countries of origin and destination on your itinerary or ask us!


Reservations will be accepted upon receipt of a the per person deposit, with a completed trip application for each person. Deposits required differ by tour or cruise.

     Final payment of balance due must be made not later than 45 days prior to departure date. Some tours, cruises and services require payment at an earlier pre-departure date, ie. 120 days or 90 days.

     Final payment can be made by check, money order, or wire transfer. We normally accept credit cards for the deposits and airfare only. The credit card processing bank charges 3.75% in fees to process a credit card charge. To keep prices as low as possible, we do not mark our trips up 3.75% to cover that. If you still wish to use a credit card to pay your balance, we need the 3.75% bank fee covered.

     If the balance is not paid when due, GreenTracks, Inc. reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled with loss of deposit. In any event, $100 of the deposit is considered a registration fee, is non-refundable and covers administrative costs.


    Some cruises and lodges have different payment terms imposed by them that will be in effect. Such can be provided upon request.


If you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify GreenTracks, Inc., by phone and in writing. If you cancel 30 days or more prior to departure, you will receive a refund, less any amount we pre-paid for services and less a $100 administrative fee. Cancellation 29 days and less prior to departure will not receive a refund.


    Some cruises and lodges have different cancellation terms imposed by them that will be in effect.

   PURCHASE TRAVELERS INSURANCE if you are concerned about this possibility. Unused tour features are neither refundable nor exchangeable once the tour is in progress. Inka Trail Permits and service fees are non-refundable.


   In some cases, GreenTracks, Inc. in operating these land and air arrangements acts only as agents for airlines, railroads, bus contractors, ship lines, hotels and local tourist offices providing these services, and as agents are not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained due to the action or inaction, performance or non-performance of others. If additional expenses are incurred through delays, accidents or the disruption of advertised schedules beyond the control of GreenTracks, Inc., such expenses must be borne by the passenger(s). The right to alter any tour arrangement is reserved by GreenTracks, Inc. All rates and schedules are subject to change without notice. Any unused portion of package is non-refundable after commencement of tour.
